Shary Boyle maintains a multidisciplinary studio practice centered on drawing, sculpture and performance. Her deeply crafted work considers the social history of ceramics, antiquated technologies, animist mythologies and folk-art forms to create a symbolic, politically charged language uniquely her own. Boyle activates her art through collaboration, writing, and mentorship, engaging other creative communities and disciplines with a characteristically inclusive spirit.
