I am a Theatre artist. I am Nlaka’p’amux from the Lytton First Nation in British Columbia. I write, act, direct and gather communities for the witnessing and enjoyment of stories. I am fascinated with how our histories impact our present and lead us forward into the next moment and the moment after that, and how choices in the moment can lead to unexpected outcomes, surprises and new opportunities. Our stories are all that we really have in this world. The story of our lives, the story of right now, the stories of our families, our communities. The stories we tell ourselves. Our myths and legends and creation stories. The stories of Indigenous people are the stories of this land and they are important, beautiful and transformative.
